Description: This is the advanced practitioner level of the A.R.M.
Accredited Member Level 2 membership certificate at no extra charge.
Requirements:
- Current membership of the Association.
- Each applicant must gain 20 points to reach this level. Allocated of 5 points for the obligatory article* (3,000 words) or a project on a health-related subject. The remaining 15 points are achieved by additional training and study to the amount of 300 hours, through approved courses and workshops (including volunteer work) each 100 hours accruing 5 points.
- All Accredited Members Level 2 must hold a Public Liability and Professional of Indemnity Insurance certificate of currency (minimum of $1,000,000).
Notes: Because of the diverse nature of the massage and bodywork industry, the Association Executive individually assesses each application for Accredited Membership Level 2. A.R.M. uses this points system to assess the applications, awarding points for approved training and experience in massage and health-related areas, substantiated by documentation. Medical or paramedical training or training in complementary therapies accrues points towards accreditation proportional to the extent and relevance of the training. * For more information see: Instructions to Level 2 Accredited Membership Applicants.

Description: Applicants trained by an A.R.M. Accredited Teacher may be eligible for automatic* entry to the Association if their application is endorses by their teacher. Note: * A.R.M. reserves the right to assess any applicant.
Requirements:
- Have satisfactorily completed a Certificate IV in Massage HLT40302 or Diploma of Remedial Massage HLT50302 Therapy in accordance to the current NTIS- National Training Package and has been trained by an RTO (Registered Training Organisation). For a list of current RTO’s go to http://www.ntis.gov.au
- Must hold a current First Aid Certificate (Level 2 or Senior) or national equivalent.
- Must read, sign and agree to abide by the A.R.M. Code of Ethics and Code of Practice in all aspects of professional massage.
- Must complete the A.R.M. application form with a statutory declaration forwarded with payment.

Description: The Student level is designed to give massage students access to the support, activities and benefits of the Association. Students are not accredited members of the Association and are generally expected to complete sufficient training within two years to upgrade to accredited membership level.
Requirements:
- Students need to be enrolled in accredited remedial massage course or have remedial massage qualifications to the standard of A.R.M. or an RTO to gain A.R.M. membership.
