The A.R.M. Newsletter is issued to all financial members each year in February, May, August, and November. Members enjoy free advertising within the Newsletter (see classified ads).

Insurance

Members are able to access insurance at group rates for Public Liability and Professional of Indemnity Insurance via OAMPS Insurance Brokers. With over 13,000 Therapists on their book, they can't all be wrong! See www.oamps.com.au for more information.

Health Funds

All major Health Funds accept qualified ARM members as providers (dependant on modality) so that your clients can get health fund rebates. Some members may also be entitled to register with WorkCover.

Continued Professional Education (CPE)

Workshops are providing 4 times a year, February, May, August and November (up to 6 points per meeting) for ongoing education and learning allowing you to maintain provider status with the Health Funds. (20 points per year required)

CPE is not a condition of membership to the A.R.M.

However, CPE, a current First Aid Certificate, current Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance are a requirement for Health Fund provider status.

Continued Lobbying

With WorkCover, Tafe etc for both A.R.M. members and professional massage industry as a whole.

Website

The ARM website has a whole range of information, including free advertising and workshop information for members.

YellowPages

Members can advertise under the A.R.M. banner within the Yellow Pages.

Membership Fees

Membership fees are due on 1st April of each year.
